I made this to try and get a better feel for my OCs from Martoq/Martoq Future, since I haven't used them forever as a result of the forums being dead. Hopefully it worked! I also added a brief description of all the characters I used at the bottom, more for my reference than anything. >.>

Qelend- The first time? It was in my kitchen, I think. It was so long ago, I hardly remember.
Dhinoq- Back when I was alive, my father forced me and some girl I was apparently “betrothed” to into it. It was not pleasant.

Sosyrus- Please, like I'd let anyone near me who wanted to do that.

A brief description of all the characters:

Akaena- She's half fairy, half ackyeir (merperson). She has a very happy-go-lucky, upbeat personality, and hides her insecurities well. Always tries to stay positive, even in tough situations. When she gets upset, she often ignores the problem and hides away in a rather immature fashion. She always voices her opinion, no matter who gets offended. Hopefully not too much of a Mary-Sue, I'm always trying to avoid that with her. ><

Zalth- He's a fairy, and Akaena's cousin. His personality is based on characters like Remus from Harry Potter and Iruka from Naruto, so, if you can't guess, he's a teacher. >< He's often the voice of reason, especially when Akaena gets out of control (she often does). He's very adept at the "I'm very disappointed in you" look/lecture. I haven't used him in forever...

Seenkara, aka Seen- She's a dwarf, and I try to write her with a Scottish accent, like all stereotypical dwarves have, but I'm not very good at it. >.> She's tough, a fighter, and takes no one's crap, but she's very loyal to her people, especially after their king was killed. She has a soft spot for certain things, though she would never admit to it. Her short height is also a sore point for her (Ed-like short rants are fun to write. ^^).

Nhia- She's a Deathian (kinda like vampires, but don't /need/ to have blood, and look a bit more human than your typical sallow-skinned vamp). Nhia had a very tough childhood, where she was abused in multiple ways, but has a mysterious natural powerful healing ability that she learns to use once she escapes from her “rison.” She's extremely shy, and often stutters her words. She's also very tall (because that matters so much).

Qelend- He's an Earth Elemental, and my first attempt at writing a bad guy. It didn't go over too well. >< I'm not good at evil. But he still doesn't care about much, and flirts with women only for the thrill of ditching them the morning after (that's evil, right? Right?). He had one experience with love which ended tragically, which fueled his already not-so-dormant evilness, but he does care for one girl- Madlyn- quite a lot, as she goes through her young life, not that he'd ever admit to caring about anyone.

Dhinoq- He's a Lost (people who died, but didn't want to pass on, so they remain stuck between life and death, which most of them don't have a problem with. No, they're not ghosts or zombies. They can think for themselves), was an Ackyeir when alive. He's very full of himself, but quite kind and peaceful as far as the normally aggressive and bloodthirsty Losts go, and is one of the oldest members of the race. He has a natural power of creating shields, which come in handy, especially when it comes to his boasting about his abilities. Also accidentally gay (I swear I didn't intend for him to be gay, it just happened!), not that he'll ever admit to it.

Nym- He's half Deathian, half Fairy. (Flying vampires, yay!) Him and Sosyrus are twins, and have been alone for as long as they can remember. They were initially both very hesitant on befriending anyone, but Nym with his kind, gentle personality eventually managed to get them known in Martoq. He's the peace-keeper of the two, but does love his brother despite his shortcomings. He's very calm and level-headed the vast majority of the time, but his temper is one to be reckoned with, should you make him angry. He actually seems the type to turn evil unexpectedly... Heh, idea. ^^ I need to develop him more. >.>

Sosyrus- Also half Deathian, half Fairy. To put it short, he has quite the temper problem. he angers very easily and has little to no tolerance for others, even his brother at times (though he always gets over it ^^). Actually, deep down, he's probably the more good out of the two of them, as he always does what's right in the end. Argh, I wish Martoq had gone on longer!

Calentria- Half Elf, half Dwarf. Now here's a character I really wanted to develop more, but got no time at all. Basically, after being pretty much shunned and mocked her entire childhood, she became pretty nasty. Bitchy- but in a much deadlier way. No, she's not evil, she just doesn't like to talk and loves glaring at everyone, and wishes to be left alone. I'd probably work on developing her more social side if Martoq had stayed. >.>

Naraen- She's an Ackyeir, made for Martoq High, but could easily move over to normal Martoq had it remained active. My youngest character, only fourteen, she's very shy when you meet her, but once you become her friend you'll be begging for the shyness to come back with all her talking. As it is, she doesn't have many friends, but probably wants some dearly. Again, haven't really developed her beyond the extreme shyness. She's a good girl. ^^
